During my sophomore year, I was a designer for The Miami Student Magazine, where I worked with a writer to create graphics for their story in the magazine. I utilized Adobe Illustrator and Indesign to create the graphics and display the story on pages of the magazine.
The first thing I was tasked with after talking with the writer about their vision for the graphics was to create a mood board. I utilized this to inspire the design process when developing the graphics. I constructed the mood in Canva.

Once the mood board was approved by the exec board of the magazine and the writer I moved on to create graphics in Adobe Illustrator. I then positioned all of the graphics on the pages with the text from the story. The final product is shown below.
